Features
The 2026 International Conference of the Taiwan Institute of Kansei (2026ICTIK) organized by National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNU), will be held under the theme “From GenAI to KanseiAI.” In the future, AI will no longer be merely a cold computational engine. By integrating Kansei research, AI can be trained to understand the subtle emotions underlying human tone and expression, rather than simply responding to instructions. Through KanseiAI, the outputs automatically generated by generative AI can evoke “emotional resonance” and better address people’s psychological needs. Furthermore, the integration of KanseiAI and GenAI will enable deeper exploration of issues spanning both virtual and real-world environments. Such explorations will no longer be limited to visual or tactile dimensions, but will instead embrace the integration of all senses, jointly shaping the future user experience across virtual and physical worlds.
